Selected Biography

Anderton, Norman Leslie Ÿ Born: Newmarket, Cambridgeshire in 27.10.1894.  Parents: James Anderton (Hairdresser) and Emily Ann [née Clarke].  Home: 52 Bagleys Lane, Fulham, London (1901) and Melford Place, Long Melford (1911), 16 Austin Street, Boston, Massachusetts, USA [1917].  Occupation: Page to Charles Henry Westropp of Melford Place (1911), emigrated to the United States of America.  Machinist at Waterhouse Welding Co. [1917].  Married: Hazel Gladys Hilles in 1919.  Service Record: Enlisted in the US Army on 5.6.1917.  Died: Medford, Middlesex, Massachusetts in 1963.[i]
