Robertson, Amy – Born: Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland in 1874. Parents: Unknown. Home: The School House, The Green, Long Melford (1901) to (1921). Occupation: Dressmaker (1901), Assistant School Teacher at Long Melford Elementary School (1921). Service Record: Amy was a member of the British Red Cross Society and from August to September 1918, treating sick and wounded soldiers as a Volunteer Nurse at Ampton Hall Red Cross Hospital, near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.[1]
